The Church: It Teaches the Way to the God of Heaven

Religions like Christianity, Buddhism, and Confucianism are similar in that they all attempt to teach the path to heaven. The way to heaven, however, is known only to the one who has been to and come back from heaven. Since the way to heaven is not the way of the world, it is not something that just anyone can know or teach. God sends a messenger in every generation to work on his behalf. A spirit is sent from heaven to earth to teach and lead God’s messenger. Since heaven is where God and God’s kingdom are, believers with their hopes set on heaven must find it no matter where it might be. Can a pastor who has never been to heaven lead anyone else there?

Jesus came from heaven, returned there, and he will come from heaven once again (Jn 3:34, Jn 14:1-3). When and where will he appear? If he appears today, will anyone be able to see him and believe in him? Speaking from one’s own wisdom, knowledge, judgment, and thoughts is like spitting in the ocean to try and raise the tide. Physical thoughts and knowledge are different from spiritual thoughts and knowledge. Until the revelation (Matt 11:27), mentioned in the OT (Is 29:9-14; Hab 2:2-3; Ez 1, 2, 3), came, all the religious leaders of the time taught only the teachings of men. This is why no one could understand Jesus’ revelation (Mat 22:29).

Similarly, from the time of the first coming to now, when the revelation of the NT has come (Rv 5, 6, 8, 10), all pastors have been preaching only the teachings of men. Today, every pastor has his own interpretation of Revelation that springs from his own mind. This proves that men’s teachings have been taught until today. Anyone who believes in the true faith, the true heaven, and true eternal life must acknowledge the Bible and its fulfillment. They must accept the true revelation that Shincheonji is testifying. Instead of slandering us and calling us a devil-worshiping demon-possessed cult, in the same way the prophets and apostles of the past were persecuted, all believers should truly repent of their biblical ignorance and other wrongdoings. Blaming and persecuting others without knowing the Bible’s true meaning will not take you to heaven or grant you eternal life. You cannot make your thoughts and opinions true just because you want them to be true. Even pastors and theologians must learn the things they do not know to be saved.

The Bible is the standard of our faith. Since Shincheonji alone teaches the word of revelation, even if people want to repent and base their faith on the Bible, their efforts are futile unless they go through Shincheonji. If Shincheonji approached people today the way Jesus did at the first coming, this generation would be in an uproar. Do you remember what Jesus said at the first coming? If you believe what he said, then you will find what Shincheonji says faultless. Persecuting someone or some group as a cult without any biblical basis reveals a deep spiritual problem only in the person who is doing the persecuting. Shincheonji is doing its best to proclaim the truth of the prophecies of the Bible and their fulfillment. Those who receive the word of revelation and the testimony, keep it, and reach salvation are truly blessed (Rv 1:1-3).

Elementary teachings and maturity

What (where) are the elementary teachings? What (where) is maturity?
Teachings refer to God’s word. The elementary teachings refer to the Mosaic Law, the fulfillment of the Old Testament during Jesus’ first coming, and the figurative prophecies.

The scripture records, “Let us leave the elementary teachings about Christ and go on to maturity, not laying again the foundation of repentance from acts that lead to death, and of faith in God, instruction about baptisms, the laying on of hands, the resurrection of the dead, and eternal judgment” (Heb 6:1-2). The scripture also says, “For we know in part and we prophecy in part, but when perfection comes, the imperfect disappears. When I was a child, I talked like a child, I thought like a child, I reasoned like a child. When I became a man, I put childish ways behind me. Now we see but a poor reflection as in a mirror; then we shall see face to face. Now I know in part; then I shall know fully, even as I am fully known” (1 Cor 13:9-12).

Our hope as believers is to go to heaven and God. The only path to go to heaven and God is to go through Jesus, who is way, truth, and life (Jn 14:6). Hosea records that God desires acknowledgment of God rather than sacrifice or burnt offerings (Hos 6:6). Jesus also said, no one knows the father except those who receive the revelation (Mt 11:27). Furthermore, God spoke about how His people are destroyed from a lack of knowledge (Hos 4:6).

What we must believe in is the New Testament, more than the Old Testament. The Old Testament already passed away, but the New Testament is coming, and as a matter of fact, it is being fulfilled today. One of the reasons why the Physical Israelites did not believe, even though the Old Testament was fulfilled, was because they only knew and kept the Mosaic Law. They believed the law but they rejected the faith that should be revealed. The law, however, was a tutor which was put in charge to lead saints to Christ.

What we must believe is the prophecy and its fulfillment at the time of the fulfillment. Even if someone believes in the New Testament prophecy without believing in its fulfillment, their faith is futile. At the first coming, Jesus fulfilled the Old Testament (Jn 19:30), but the Physical Israelites did not believe. The Israelites believed in and put the words of their own pastors above the promises of God. How can they be acknowledged as true believers?

We (Christians) all believe in Jesus. The words Jesus spoke are the promises (new covenant) he asked us to believe. The physical embodiment of the words of the Old Testament appeared in flesh at the first coming. Likewise, the physical embodiment of the prophecy in the New Testament will also appear at the second coming. The betrayers, destroyers, and the savior recorded in the New Testament will all appear.

When the scripture says we need to leave the elementary teachings and go on to maturity, “the maturity” refers to the place which has the physical realities of the fulfillment of the prophecy. Prophecy was given to us so that when it happens, we will believe (Jn 14:29). When the events take place, their physical realities appear. If the prophecy is compared to a dream, then its physical fulfillment is compared to a reality.

One does not attain salvation just by superficially saying, “I believe.” The one who truly believes is someone who believes in the word which asks us to flee to the mountains when seeing the destroyer standing in the holy place, and actually flees according to that very word. Furthermore, a person who does this is the one who leaves the elementary teachings. As the prophecy is fulfilled, one can see the betrayers, destroyers, and the savior at the place of maturity, the location where people can see face to face.

What Jesus and Apostle Paul talked about in the New Testament is to leave the elementary teachings. Heaven, the sealed twelve tribes, is found in the place of maturity. Just as Paul mentioned, current believers in this world are dwelling in the elementary teachings, and they do not have the faith that should be revealed (refer to Rv 5:1-3). There is no one who can attain salvation with their current life of faith (refer to Rv 22:18-19).
Among the words Jesus spoke to the crowds, Jesus only explained the meanings of the parables to those who belonged to God. Jesus, however, only spoke in parables to outsiders who were not permitted to understand them. Jesus said, if one does not know the parables, they are an outsider, and they are unable to receive forgiveness of their sins (Mk 4:10-13).

He also stated that if one adds to and/or subtracts from Revelation, which is the promise written in parables, they will not attain salvation (Rv 22:18-19). All the pastors on earth have added to and/or subtracted from the prophecy. (Ask yourself) In a situation like this, who really has a right to call someone a heretic?

It is only one person (Jesus) who opens Revelation and fulfills it (Rv 6). It is also only given to one person (the New John) to testify (Rv 10). This New John is the promised pastor who has seen the physical fulfillment of the entire book of Revelation. Arrogant people have received authority and degrees of doctorates of divinity from men, and they testify about Revelation according to their own thoughts. They are nothing but the ones who are conducting lawlessness. They are unable to testify about the physical fulfillment of Revelation. They are the pastors of the devil who give the false wine, the wine of adulteries.

All believers must leave the elementary teachings. Without adding or subtracting from Revelation, everyone must come to the place where it is being fulfilled. They must see and believe in the maturity, and become the born again chosen people. Shincheonji’s twelve tribes are God’s promised kingdom. It is the place where God dwells. It is a place never before created, where one can find the testimony of the fulfillment of the book of Revelation and receive the revelation, which is the eternal gospel. It is the promised new heaven and new earth, Shincheonji. It is also the Temple of the Tabernacle of the Testimony, the city of the highest truth in the 6,000 years of biblical history of mankind.

Whoever wishes let them come and drink the water of life, just as it says in Revelation 22:17 and they will attain eternal life.

Shincheonji, the Extraordinary Kingdom

in Heaven and on Earth

    The extraordinary kingdom (the holy city in heaven in Rv 21:2) mentioned in the main reference is referring to a spiritual realm. It has never been here on earth before. The kingdom of Shincheonji was also never before created on earth. The unification of the spiritual realm and the kingdom of Shincheonji can be referred to as the extraordinary kingdom, Shincheonji. It can be viewed in different perspectives depending on the people, and this is its special feature. What kind of place, then, is Shincheonji?

For the last 6,000 years of Bible history, the kingdom of Shincheonji has never appeared on earth before, not even once. It is a dream-like kingdom which people would never have known, even if others had told them. However, there is a common ground among the people who view Shincheonji differently: They are from the same country, and they speak the same language. What then are the differences among these people? The perspectives on Shincheonji differ depending on the people who view it. Some view it negatively, as if they do not understand it. Some think of it positively and as something very precious. Why are there such different perspectives? The people of the same country regard the people of Shincheonji as vile, whereas the people from different countries consider them very good. What are the reasons for such differences? Even if I tell you the facts, it will still be hard to understand. An Eastern prophet once predicted what was yet to come by saying, "Even if the person chosen by heaven brings three foods which lead people to eternal life, how will the secular people of the world be able to know this?"  Even if heaven knows earth, how will earth be able to know heaven? Earth has its limits, but space and heaven are limitless.

One has come to the extraordinary kingdom, Shincheonji, but he is unable to see its physical image, he only sees Shincheonji and its people. Since Shincheonji people, and this person, speak the language of the same country, they can interact with each other. However, the meaning of the words spoken from the people of Shincheonji, which has been united with the spiritual realm, is different from the words spoken from the people of the world. What type of words do the people of Shincheonji speak? They speak the words of the divine being (i.e. a spirit or God). The divine being resides in words and when they speak, they speak the words containing the purpose of the spirit. This is the reason why the people of the world cannot comprehend the words of the people of Shincheonji. The spirit of flesh, being opposite to the spirit of God, is another reason why the people of the world cannot perceive the words of Shincheonji. Some may question as to how the people from other nations are then able to understand the words. Even if they are foreigners, if they are united with the spirit of God, they are able to perceive and interact through this very spirit of God.

As the kingdom of Shincheonji--the kingdom united with the spiritual realm--has appeared, all the evil spirits from the world have gathered into the nation where it has appeared, and they are ruling over the people. Having been the adversaries of the spirit of the holy God, these wicked spirits block the thoughts of men and steer their thoughts to view Shincheonji with resentment. How can spirits control people? People are likened unto fields and houses where spirits enter and direct people. They sometimes provoke people to have troubles or manipulate them to have disputes. Now that the God of the spiritual world has united as one with the people of Shincheonji, the evil spirits also enter the believers who resemble them and interfere with the work of Shincheonji. This is a battle between the spirits. People whom the spirits enter and use show the same actions as those spirits. Even if it is a father and a son, if the spirits within them are different, the father and the son become engaged into disputes. The paths of their thoughts become disparate. If the God of the spiritual realm had come to Japan or the United States of America, instead of Korea, those places would have been in confusion and chaos, just like the religious world in Korea is at this present time. A pleasant world, a good season, will come if the battle between these two spirits is put to an end, and if the God of the spiritual realm triumphs. However, if the evil spirits prevail, this world will always be in confusion, just like it has been since the times of old. War will end; world peace and the Sabbath-rest will come if the holy spirit wins. The holy spirit of the kingdom of heaven, the spiritual realm, acknowledges Shincheonji because it has received the promised revelation of the New Testament, and it is acting upon the purpose of the revelation. Now it is the era of God, the God of Shincheonji, and the kingdom of heaven. Since spirits and flesh both overcame in heaven and on earth, the world of sin and wickedness, and the world of disputes are becoming the kingdom of heaven.

Even if the world denies it, Shincheonji is acknowledged by heaven. It is truly the kingdom of promise, which God and His Son Jesus, have promised since long ago. It is truly the kingdom of heaven where the spiritual heaven descends, and where people live with God and the angels forever and ever.

The Battle of Armageddon in Revelation

-Where is Armageddon?

-What kind of battle is the battle in Rv 16:13-16? Who fights against whom?

-Why must this battle be fought? (Lam 1:21-22; Rv 6; Rv 18)

Armageddon is a flattened hilltop in northern Israel. As the site of many ancient battles, Armageddon is used figuratively in Rv 16:13-16 to represent a spiritual battleground. The war in Rv 16 is a spiritual war fought, not with physical weapons, but with words. This is a war between the spirits and flesh that belong to the devil and the spirits and flesh that belong to God. This is also God’s way of carrying out the work of judgment. The first battle of this war takes place between God’s chosen people at the tabernacle of heaven (the betrayers in Rv 13) and the group of the dragon—the beast who invades the tabernacle of heaven. The second battle is carried out to judge the chosen people (the betrayers) and the beast (the destroyers). Afterwards, the pastors of Babylon are gathered to fight against those who overcame them in Rv 12. The place these gentile pastors are gathered to fight against God’s overcomers is figuratively called the battlefield of Armageddon.
The angels who appear in Rv 15 carry out the work of judgment in Rv 16. The angels use those who were victorious over the beast, his image, and the number of his name as vessels or instruments. God’s wrath is poured into these vessels and then out onto people in Rv 16 as judgment. The words of the Old and New Testaments come from the Temple of the Tabernacle of the Testimony (Rv 15)—the place from which these judging angels come. This temple is made up of the spirits and flesh that belong to God. The work of judgment also comes from this temple. The group of the dragon (i.e. the beast) is judged according to what it has done in Rv 8, 9, and Rv 13. Fulfilling the request of the martyrs in Rv 6, God repays the destroyers double for what they have done. This is how God’s rage and judgment, which have been held back for the past 6,000 years, are finally released.
To all who claim to believe in God, do you truly know God? Do you truly understand the situation God has been in until today? Have you ever been betrayed? Have you ever lost something as incredibly precious as God has? Have you ever been patient for such a long time? If you truly believe in God, you will understand that now is the time to receive his revealed word (Mt 11:27; Jn 17:3; Rv 10).
The great river, Euphrates—the dwelling place for the group of the dragon (Rv 9:14), is dried up because of God’s judgment. The kings who were held captive by the beast are finally able to escape the group of the dragon along this dried river bed. Upon seeing these kings depart, evil spirits like frogs emerge from the mouths of the dragon, the beast, and the false prophets. They go out to the kings of the whole world (i.e. the pastors who belong to the beast) and gather them for the battle on the great day of God (Rv 16:12-16). At this time of war, the seventh bowl is poured into the air (to the press), and the events of Revelation are made known to the many multitudes who sleep in the dust of the earth (Dn 12:2). Babylon is destroyed when its deeds and true identity are revealed.
Since the one who carried out this work of judgment is testifying about this, this testimony is true. Let us reach salvation by believing in this testimony! Jesus atoned for our sins through his blood (Rv 1:5-6) and judged the group of the dragon as stated above. He is indeed delivering people out of the kingdom of demons today. Come and see! Put salve on your eyes (Rv 3:18) and verify if this testimony is true. You will find that it is absolutely true.

Perceive, Believe, and Keep

One becomes destroyed if he lacks the word of God, the knowledge of the Bible.

The content of the 66 books (39 books in the Old Testament and 27 books in the New Testament) of the Bible (the Old and the New Testaments) can be categorized into four types: History, teachings (moral instructions), prophecy, and fulfillment.

The logical order of the events that occur in every era: The betrayal of the chosen people, the destruction by gentiles, and salvation through the promised pastor.

The logical order of creation and re-creation:
1. Selection of a pastor
2. Creation of a kingdom
3. Covenant with the chosen people
4. The betrayal of the covenant by the chosen people and destruction
5. Selection of a new pastor
6. Judgment and salvation
7. Creation of a new kingdom
8. New covenant

(The logical order can be seen in ten steps if the numbers 4 and 6 are divided into two parts each--number 4 can be divided into the betrayal of the covenant and destruction, and number 6 into judgment and salvation.)

Distinguishing of the eras during the 6,000 years of biblical history:
1. The era of Genesis
2. The era of the Exodus and the Law
3. The era of the Judges
4. The era of the Kings
5. The era of the Prophets
6. The era of the Gospel of Heaven
7. The era of the Epistles
8. The era of Revelation and Re-creation

Qualifications to enter into heaven: Six things which must be fulfilled in us are.
1. One must be born of the seed of God.
2. One must be harvested.
3. One must be sealed.
4. One must belong to the promised kingdom, the 12 tribes.
5. One must not add to and/or subtract from Revelation.
6. One's name must be recorded in the book of life.

Testimony according to the 5Ws and 1H: who, what, where, when, why, and how

Distinguishing of the pastors:  Pastors are categorized into three types.
1. The pastor of prophecy (Old Testament prophets)
2. The general pastor (a pastor who peaches the fulfillment)
3. The pastor of promise (the pastor promised before things are fulfilled)

These three types of pastors must exist. Among these three, the pastor of promise appears at an appointed time. At the appointed time, everyone must listen to the words of the pastor of the promise in order to attain salvation.

When books of prophecy are testified, both the pastor of prophecy and the pastor of fulfillment need to be testified about. The fulfillment should be testified according to its prophecy as well as to the 5Ws and 1H.

In regard to the fulfillment of the books of prophecy, there is a fulfillment of the Old Testament, and there is a fulfillment of the New Testament. The Old Testament was fulfilled at the time of the first coming, and the New Testament has been fulfilled at the time of the second coming. A promise was given so people will believe when the foretold prophecy comes to pass (Jn 14:29).

Now is the time of the testimony of the fulfillment of the New Testament. At a time like this, causing problems with trivial matters is a trick of Satan. We must realize it is the devil's play which takes our time away and confuses our minds. Let us keep our promise and attain our hope.

★ Shincheonji is neither the corrupt Christian Council of Korea which is tainted with money, nor is it the people of Canaan who entered Sabbath-rest. We are the leading characters for the work of the new creation.

[Shincheonji God's Word] God’s messengers and the pastors of each generation

Who persecuted and murdered God’s prophets, Jesus, and his disciples? How will the situation be different at the time of Revelation’s fulfillment?
In each and every generation, God chose and sent his messengers to his people to speak on his behalf. Unfortunately, the pastors and elders of each generation persecuted and murdered God’s prophets. They carried out this wicked work of persecution because they themselves had become corrupt—because they belonged to the devil. The scriptures testify about how this work of persecution was carried out in the time of the Old Testament, how it was carried out in the time of the New Testament, and how it is carried out at the time of Revelation’s fulfillment. Just as God’s prophets, his chosen pastors, and his apostles were tormented in the past, they are still being persecuted today (Mt 23:34-35; Lk 11:47-51; Acts 7:51-53; Rv 11). Who was it that Jesus fought against in the four gospels? Who was it that persecuted and even crucified him? Who was it that Jesus’ disciples fought against, and by whom were they murdered? The adversaries of Jesus and his disciples were the elders and pastors of that generation (Mt 15:1-6). No one can deny that it was the elders and pastors of that time who persecuted and killed Jesus and his disciples (Mt 27; Jn 19:21-30; Acts 7:51-60).
What about the two witnesses who stand before the Lord in Rv 11? What about the people in the tabernacle? Who killed them?
Just like at the time of the first coming, the two witnesses and the people in the tabernacle were persecuted and killed by false pastors who have united with the beast, the devil. Those who have read and perceived the truth in the Old and New Testaments will agree that this testimony is true. In the four gospels, Jesus promised to send us a messenger to speak on his behalf (Mt 23:39; Rv 22:16). In addition, Jesus prophesied that this promised messenger will testify about all the chapters of Revelation when he comes. This messenger, as a matter of fact, is the one who sees and hears all the events of the chapters of Revelation and who receives and delivers Jesus’ commands (Rv 1:2; Rv 10). Today, however, all nations have gone astray because of the figurative nation of Babylon and the pastors who belong to Satan. People have married the devil (Rv 17; Rv 18). The scriptures describe how these pastors and their congregation members have become intoxicated with the wine of adultery, which symbolizes the false teachings of the devil (Rv 17:1-5). Using different metaphors, the seed of weeds has been sown in the hearts of these people, and the venom of serpents has filled their entire bodies.
Today, the messenger Jesus promised has fought and overcome using the truth (Rv 12:7-11) by testifying about the events of Revelation according to what he saw and heard. He had to uproot the seed of weeds from their hearts before sowing again with God’s seed. He had to destroy the house the devil had made before re-building God’s house in their hearts. In other words, Jesus’ messenger had to help people be born again (Jer 1:10). He had to fight against Satan using the truth (Rv 17:14) to deliver God’s saints from the organization of Satan (Rv 18:1-4). Because he overcame, the messenger of Jesus is able to receive the blessings promised in Rv 2 and Rv 3.
All believers and pastors in this generation must understand the Bible and repent. They must ask, seek, and knock for the messenger whom Jesus our Lord promised in the New Testament (Mt 7:7-8; Rv 3:20).
No one in this world was able to understand Revelation because it was awaiting its fulfillment at the time of the second coming. No one was able to know it until the events of Revelation’s fulfillment appeared—until God opened it and showed it to us. Now, the time of the physical fulfillment of Revelation has come (Jn 16:25)! God has fulfilled the prophecies of Revelation and has shown their physical fulfillment to the one who overcomes. He has opened the scroll and has given it to the one who overcomes to eat. God commands that the one who overcomes should testify to the churches what he has seen and heard (Rv 10), and the one who overcomes is doing so accordingly.
The book of Revelation is the revelation of Jesus Christ (Rv 1:1). The testimony of Jesus is the testimony about the events that occurred in the location of Revelation’s fulfillment (Rv 1:2). Let us cast away our wicked hearts and step forward with good and noble hearts before Jesus. It is only when we receive the revelation and the testimony of Jesus Christ that we can acquire salvation (Mt 11:27). The testimony regarding the three entities of Revelation—the seven stars who betray (Rv 1:19-20; Rv 2; Rv 3; Rv 6), the beast who destroys (Rv 13; Rv 17), and the overcomer who saves by creating the twelve tribes of New Spiritual Israel (Rv 12; Rv 7)—is being clearly proclaimed by Shincheonji.
Among all the nations of the world, it is only Shincheonji  Church of Jesus that has been created according to Jesus’ commands. It is only Shincheonji Church of Jesus that has been testifying about what has been revealed by Jesus. Today’s believers do not have God’s word in their hearts because their pastors do not have the word to teach them. Today’s pastors do not have the word in their hearts because their seminaries do not have the word. The seminaries do not have the word because they do not have the holy spirit that is the source of God’s word.
Unlike all the seminaries of the world, Shincheonji does has the word and the physical fulfillment of the word because God, Jesus, and the holy spirit of truth are with us (Rv 3:12; Rv 21). If you are trying to draw water from a dried up spring, no matter how hard you try or how long you wait you will never be able to drink water. The thirsty people of the world should come and find the spring where the living water flows. All the waterless springs of the world should stop desperately trying to keep believers for themselves (Mt 23:13). Instead, they should send their congregation members to the spring that is flowing with living water. If the pastors and believers of this generation continue refusing to repent, they will not be saved. This is the truth from the Lord. Pastors and believers who truly understand heaven and hell will repent.
Today, Sshincheonji is growing rapidly because we have God, God’s word, and the physical fulfillment of God’s word with us.

at His Second Coming

What is the lamp and oil that one needs to prepare in order to receive the Lord when he returns?
In Matthew 25, Jesus said that those who do not prepare the lamp and oil cannot receive the bridegroom Jesus, and they will be left outside the wedding banquet. Is Jesus referring to a literal lamp and oil? Or are they metaphors? According to the Scriptures “I will open my mouth in parables, I will utter hidden things, things from of old,” (Ps 78:2), Jesus “did not say anything to them without using a parable” (Mt 13:34-35).
What does the lamp and oil symbolise? Jesus told this parable using the ancient Israelite wedding banquet custom. In those days, the Israelites held their wedding banquets at night. Each bridesmaid would carry a lamp to receive the bridegroom and lead him into the house and into the room where the bride waits.
God said in Jeremiah 31, “… I took them by the hand to lead them out of Egypt... they broke my covenant though I was a husband to them.” He also spoke in Hosea 2:19-20, “I will betroth you to me forever.” In the same manner, Jesus has said that he will come in the position of a bridegroom. Like the Israelites that came out of Egypt, we too have become the brides. Why is Jesus expressed as the groom and we as the brides? Jesus is spirit and we are flesh, the house for the spirit. We become one with the Lord by embracing the Lord in our hearts. This is a spiritual marriage. In this sense, the metaphor of the bridegroom and brides is used. This can also be found in Apostle Paul’s letter when he stated, “I promised you to one husband, to Christ, so that I might present you as a pure virgin to him” (2 Cor 11:2).
In order to partake in this spiritual wedding banquet and to receive the Lord, one must prepare the lamp and the oil. In Moses and Aaron's case, Aaron used olive oil to light up the lamps in the tabernacle (Lv 24). In Zechariah 4, two olive trees and seven lamps appear. The seven lamps were the seven spirits before the throne (Rv 4). The two olive trees beside the lampstand, symbolises the pastors who served the Lord (Zec 4:14). In Revelation 11, the two witnesses who stand before the Lord are likened to two olive trees. Thus, spiritual 'oil’ symbolises the word of testimony that comes out through the mouths of the two witnesses. They have seen and heard the fulfilment of the prophecies of the entire Revelation and this is testified just as they were commanded. This very word of testimony is the oil of the Holy Spirit of the Lord.
What is the lamp? Just as Jesus is the light (Jn 12:46) and the Word (1 Jn 1:1), the spiritual lamp is Jesus’ word of promise, that is, the Bible. [Since the witnesses, likened onto olive trees, know the word (prophecies) of the Bible that was hidden through the parables and its physical fulfilments, the word of the Holy Spirit, which testifies about the physical realities that have been fulfilled is the oil, which lights up the Bible]. The main reference (Mt 25) mentions those who sell the oil, which refers to the olive trees i.e. the witnesses. Only those who receive the revealed word from these witnesses, the olive trees, and gain the understanding are able to receive the returning Lord.
At the time of the First Coming, the Jews failed to receive their God as their groom despite having the Old Testament (prophecies). This was due to their lack of understanding of the words of the promise. Likewise today, if one does not know the returning path of the Lord and the promised pastor, they will be unable to recognise God, the Holy City of New Jerusalem coming down from heaven, and Jesus when they come and only become persecutors. Without the proper teaching, the pastors of each denomination will be held responsible for their members’ ignorance. The Bible even promises after which events and to whom heaven, God and Jesus would come (Rv 3:12).
The word of the New Testament is the path, the lamp and the light the Lord uses to return. The oil of the Holy Spirit is the revealed word, which is the evidence of the fulfilment of Revelation. Being part of the fulfilment (the physical realities and entities) transpires as, being reborn in a new image as the new covenant is fulfilled in you. The eligibility of receiving the Lord at the wedding banquet is preparing the lamp and the oil, and acting in accordance to the prophecy and its physical fulfilment. The five qualifications include:  being harvested, being sealed, becoming a part of the twelve tribes, not adding to and/or taking away from Revelation, and having your name recorded in the book of life. This is the new covenant that believers must keep. God made it known to us that we will be able to reign eternally as kings, as His Kingdom (heaven) and his priests, if we obtain the five qualifications. These are the marriage qualifications to receive the Lord, and serve as a sign that the lamp and oil has been prepared. If one’s lamp shines no light due to a lack of oil, this means their heart has turned dark from not knowing the Bible's prophecy and its physical fulfilment and signifies the deficiency of their faith. How can such person receive the Lord if their position is like that of a non-believer? Like the sun, moon, and stars of the sky have darkened and fallen to the ground, they have returned to being mere flesh, despite having begun their faith with the Holy Spirit. Although this is the reality, they do not realise that they are in this situation and therefore they are in the night.
In 1 Thessalonians 5 there are those who are asleep at night and urged them to awake. Those who do not have the light will get destroyed, but those who become like the light of the day will attain salvation.
Today, at the time of the Second Coming, anyone involved in the acts of persecution and cursing is a pastor of Satan. Such actions serve as the evidence that they are a part of Satan’s people. It is only those who believe and keep the word of promise whom will attain salvation. I pray for all to believe and be saved.

[Shincheonji God's Word] 666—the mark of the beast

Question: There are two different beasts in Revelation. The beast coming out of the sea enters the tabernacle of heaven and defeats its congregation members. Because it is victorious, the beast seizes authority over the defeated congregation members. The other beast, which comes from the tabernacle (the figurative earth), arrives at the throne of the beast from the sea and works on its behalf. This beast from the earth entices the congregation members of the tabernacle to worship the first beast and its idols. He kills anyone who refuses to worship the idols. His name, in fact, is 666. Isn’t the number 666 familiar to you? Who is this beast called 666?
Answer: The actions of this beast from the earth are similar to the actions of King Nebuchadnezzar of Babylon, the nation of demons (Rv 18:2). King Nebuchadnezzar set up an idol—an image of gold sixty cubits high and six cubits wide (Dn 3:1). Nebuchadnezzar then threw anyone who refused to fall down and worship the image he made into a blazing furnace (Dn 3:6). According to 1 Kgs 10:14, the weight of gold that Solomon received yearly as a tribute from gentile nations was 666 talents—the same as the number of the beast (666) in Revelation. Solomon used this gold to make shields to protect himself. According to 1 Kgs 10:16, six hundred measures of gold went into each shield. Solomon also made shrines for the worshiping of gentile gods in the temple of Jerusalem. These actions of Solomon are the same as the actions of the beast from the earth. The number of the beast symbolizes Solomon, who betrayed God, and the gentile King Nebuchadnezzar of Babylon. The Bible says that this beast from the earth, which has two horns like a lamb, belongs to the first beast that had seven heads and came up from the sea. This beast from the earth is also referred to as an eighth king, who once was, now is not, but arises later (Rv 17). This beast works with ten horns to judges the prostitute.
A few people who witnessed all of these events in the tabernacle of heaven fought against these beasts, overcame them, and expelled them from the tabernacle (Rv 12). After overcoming the beast, these people gather at the sea of glass (Rv 15) with God and his angels. Since they are living witnesses who can testify about all of these events, their group is referred to as the “Temple of the Tabernacle of the Testimony.” They also know the true identity and actions of the beast called 666. When the true identity of Babylon, which is the nation of demons, is revealed, is it surprising that the people of Babylon (including the seven heads and ten horns of the beast) persecute the congregation members of the Temple of the Tabernacle of the Testimony? The people of God are always persecuted by the people of the devil. The congregation members of the Temple of the Tabernacle of the Testimony truly belong to God because it is the place for those who have overcame the beast. All Christians should realize that these are the events that God wants to reveal to his people. We must all know and believe in the events revealed by God.
Since the witnesses in Shincheonji church of Jesus—Temple of the Tabernacle of the Testimony are testifying about what they have seen and heard, their testimony is true. The events of the book of Revelation are understood only by those who receive the revealed word (i. e. the revelation). Believers can attain heaven and eternal life only by knowing the one true God, Jesus, and the one who overcomes in Rv 2 and 3—the true pastor(Man Hee Lee peace advocate)  through whom the spirit of the Advocate is working.

[Shincheonji God's Word] Jesus' commission and power

According to Jn 10:35, the scriptures cannot be broken. Jesus came according to the scriptures, fulfilled prophecy according to the scriptures, and left again according to the scriptures. God promised Abraham that the Israelites would escape Egypt after four generations.
Just as he promised, God came to Moses, performed many miracles, and delivered the Israelites out of Egypt. Just as he prophesied through the Old Testament prophets, God came to Jesus and performed many miracles. He raised Jazaus from the dead and walked on water.
He fed 5,000 people with just 5 loaves of bread and 2 fish leaving 12basketfuls of leftovers (Mt 15:17). How could Jesus have performed these miracles if God wasn't with him?

 

Moses had power because God was with him. Jesus had power because God was with him. God fed the Israelites manna and quail in the time of Moses (Ex 16). God also came to Jesus to perform powerful signs.
The priests of that time, however, were jealous of Jesus because they could not perform the same miracles. They cursed at their congregation members that followed Jesus. They tried to prevent others from going  to Jesus by calling Jesus a cult leader and the devil (Jn 8:51-59; Ac 24:5, 14; Mt 12:22-28). They should have given thanks and glory to God that Jesus was able to feed so many people with just 5 loaves of bread and 2 fish. Instead, they slandered Jesus for not keeping the traditions of the elders (e.g. washing one's hands before eating).
They were obviously not thinking clearly. True heretics blame others for their own wrong doing. Jesus, on the other hand, bore the cross for our sins and established the 12 tribes of the Spiritual Israel. He also promised what would be fulfilled in the future.

 

He promised he would return and then he ascended to heaven. Today, believers must not be like the Jews of that time, who refused to believe and instead told lies designed to harm others. We pray that everyone will believe in the work of God so that everyone can be saved.

World peace and restoration of light will be accomplished through the 6th World Peace Festival, which was co-hosted by Shincheonji and MANNAM International Volunteer Association. Below is the brief rundown on the events and the scenes of the festival on the day it was held.



The Millennial Gate is opened as the countdown is finished. Two representatives of Shincheonji and MANNAM enter through that gate while holding their hands and shouting hurray together. Their hope-filled footsteps are radiant, and all the spectators are welcoming the two representatives with hearty greetings.

After the entry of the two people, the athletes from the twelve tribes of Shincheonji—who look like the heavenly warriors clothed in twelve different colors—and MANNAM International athletes clothed in white uniforms are bravely entering with the images of the four living creatures in heaven and their distinct music instrument ahead of them. Their marching is as brave as warriors, and their multi-colored clothing as magnificent as flowers in the garden.



The entry is followed by hopeful and life-filled opening speeches from the two representatives, the mass game performance by 2,000 people, and the card performances by 12,000 people. Simultaneously the twelve tribes and MANNAM International are cheering for their own teams, and it is as if they are creating 13 different colored waves all over the sports stadium. Simply put, the entire scene is portraying all the events from the Book of Revelation, and it is truly the culture that heaven is only able to show to people.

An angel receives fire of the holy spirit from heaven. He passes it on to the promised messenger (pastor, Man Hee Lee). The promised messenger passes it on to the leaders of the twelve tribes. The twelve tribe leaders shoot the twelve flames of fire to the torch stand like arrows. The flames of the holy spirit are arising high in the sky. The flame of the torch has been ignited for the first time in 24 years since the same stadium held the 1988 Seoul Olympics. People around the world are watching the lit torch at the stadium and through the Internet live broadcast. The fire of the holy spirit is entering into the eyes of everyone, who is watching the torch stand. The hearts and the thoughts of people, who have just received the fire through their eyes, are being united as one with the fire of peace. They are shouting and shouting with cheer. This amazing unity is now being portrayed by the writings and pictures of the mass game and of the card performances. Peaceful shouts are emerging from all people.

More of the peaceful messages are being adding from the congratulatory speeches from the special advisor of the president and other VIP guests from all over the world. Soon after all the speeches are finished, the gigantic mass game begins to show the fulfillment of the book of Revelation. The group of the dragon, which symbolizes Satan, invades heaven. Heaven is symbolic of the tabernacle of God’s chosen people, portrayed as the golden lampstand. The invasion of the dragon is followed by the destruction of the tabernacle of heaven. The messenger of heaven witnesses the entire event. He shoots an arrow and destroys the group of the dragon. The dragon splits into seven pieces and is scattered into seven ways. As the messenger of heaven puts the war to an end, a strong roar of victory fills up the whole stadium. 200,000 spectators inside and outside the stadium are being unified as one like the flowers of heaven.



The messenger of heaven receives the revealed scroll coming from heaven and shouts its message like a loud trumpet call. The trumpet sound gathers all people around the world, and the grand festival of God, World Peace Festival, Restoration of Light Culture and Sports, finally begins.



In the afternoon, another mass game is performed with the theme of the unification of the divided Korea. Back in 1950, a tragic Korean War broke out on June 25. North Korean soldiers were forcing their way down to the southern part of Korea and occupied the land except the region of Busan in South Korea. South Koreans, with the help of the UN soldiers, pushed their way towards north and were able to reach Mt. Backdoo. As soon as they reached the far northern side, Chinese soldiers intervened, and the South Koreans had to step back and move down to the 38th Parallel.

The whole world is paying their close attention to Korea. All of sudden, there is a trumpet sound that announces the culture from heaven. The trumpet call transforms people of the world into the doves of peace. These doves push their way upwards with the Declaration of the Unification of Korea Monument ahead of them. Wherever the monument covers turns into the unified land. North and South Korea are unified, and the world puts war to an end. The festival of God, which promotes world peace, begins.



There are 200,000 spectators watching this festival through two gigantic screens inside the stadium and three other ample ones outside the stadium! The sound of their cheer shakes the sky. The seats are all filled up from morning till evening. When the sun goes down, everyone turns on their lanterns, and they twinkle beautifully like stars in the night sky. All the eyes that look at these little sparkling lights are filled with so much inspiration. It starts to drizzle late at night as if it were the tears of the deceased souls, who knew the tragedy of war, but now rejoice over the end of war.



The twelve tribes are joyfully engaged in the festival of the sun, moon, and stars of heaven. Twelve colored angels are gathering to the stadium like butterflies that smelled the flowers of heaven. Everyone hugs and dances together. The sonorous sounds of different drums lift up every one's hearts and make people feel that they are walking on the clouds. Shincheonji and MANNAM create unity where there is no high or low among people, and where a king and a servant becomes one. Lastly, they play the scene of the wedding banquet of heaven. It is indeed the site of the accomplishment of the world peace and the restoration of light!



All the events are translated into seven different languages and are broadcast live to the whole world through Internet broadcasting. International reporters around the world also air the show to their own countries. The citizens around the world, who watch the festival, put up bright and hopeful expressions on their faces. Now they are busy inviting Shinchonji and MANNAM over to their own countries. Furthermore, Shincheonji and MANNAM produced DVDs of the world peace festival and sent them to all countries in the world. They are looking forward to hearing from the presidents and broadcasting station officials, who watched the festival of God, the festival that truly promotes world peace and restores the lost light.



World peace and restoration of light have been seen by heaven and earth. The globe will be united as one, and world peace will be attained. The lost light will be restored in our generation.

Adam was created by God (Gn 1:26-27; Gn 2:7). Noah was chosen by God (Gn 6:8-9). Abraham was chosen by God (Gn 12:1). Moses was chosen by God (Ex 3:4-10). Jesus, too, was chosen by God (Lk 9:35).
Apostle John, a servant at the time the prophecies are fulfilled, has been chosen by Jesus (Rv 1:17). If he keeps the covenant and overcomes according to prophecy, Apostle John sits with Jesus on his throne (Rv 3:21). Apostle John also becomes the son who inherits everything (Rv 21:7).
In the time of the Old Testament, Moses, Isaiah, Jeremiah, Ezekiel, Daniel and the rest of the prophets were held captive in enemy nations. In the time of the first coming, too, Jesus was in Jerusalem where God’s tabernacle had been taken over by Satan’s Pharisees (Mt 23:2; Mt 23:33). In the same way, at the time of the second coming—at the end of the age—the child who rules all nations is in the tabernacle of the chosen people that is invaded by the group of the dragon (Rv 12:1-5).
When Apostle John is mentioned in Revelation, it refers figuratively to the person who is used as a servant when the prophecies are fulfilled (Hos 12:10). This Apostle John figure is the promised pastor in the time of the second coming and he is the child that rules all nations. He is the pastor of Shincheonji who has been chosen by Jesus. He has not learned the teachings of the world, nor has he learned any of his knowledge of the Bible from other men. He, too, was once among God’s people while they were in captivity. He was chosen from among those people, and he mastered the Bible by learning from the Holy Spirit. By overcoming, he became New Spiritual Israel and established the promised twelve tribes (Rv 12:11; Rv 7; Rv 14). He has accomplished, according to the Bible, things no one else could ever have accomplished.
Those who deceived and killed Adam, even though he was righteous, were the same as those who persecuted and killed Jesus. They were all children of Satan. Today, too, people who persecute the pastor chosen by God and Jesus are the same as these children of Satan from long ago. Instead of allowing their jealousy and hatred to condemn them to hell, the pastors of the world and their congregation members should come learn, understand, and verify that we speak the truth. They should enter heaven and receive its blessing, which is salvation. We are with God and we speak the word of truth. If you see and still do not understand, what else can I say?
Even though people who walk on this narrow path are persecuted because of their righteousness, we have hope. We have life and the kingdom of heaven. God, Jesus, and his angels are with us. This place, which has mastered the Bible, is Mt. Zion (Ez 8:3; Rv 14:1; Rv 15:2-5). It is the city of truth whose people joyfully return glory to God. This place is heaven on earth—Shincheonji—to which the spiritual heaven descends (Rv 21:1-7).
No matter how many people deny it, and no matter how much they persecute the harvesters, today is the time of harvest (Mt 13:30) and those who are harvested are blessed. God harvests his people to Shincheonji, which is Mt. Zion (Rv 14:1-5; Rv 14:14-16). Since the days of the churches have come to an end, it is time for the wheat to be harvested. Those who remain in their churches instead of being harvested will continue to wait in hope, but their hopes will never be fulfilled.
Believing in words that are spoken according to the Bible is believing in God and his promises. I pray that you will see and understand the Bible with spiritual eyes so you can receive salvation.

[Shincheonji God's Word] The Purpose of the Cross

What a great time to reflect on the purpose of the cross. Why is it that Jesus had to bear the cross? Why did God allow the blood of His son to be shed? What is expected of us today?


2000 years ago Jesus shed his blood to atone for man’s sin (Heb 10:10-14). Through the sacrifice of one man the sins of many were taken away. This took place at the time of the first coming, but what does the rest of Hebrews 9:28 say concerning Jesus’ return?


“Christ was sacrificed once to take away the sins of many;
and he will appear a second time, not to bear sin, but to bring salvation to those who are waiting for him.”


When does salvation come? When can we truly claim to ‘be saved’?


2000 years ago Jesus shed his blood to atone for our sins so that today we can be made into the perfect and holy kingdom and priests of God, those who have been purchased by Jesus’ blood and sealed with the seal of the living God (Rv 5:9-10; Rv 7:2-4).


The 144,000 who have been sealed and born of God’s seed, the word of truth (Rv 7:4; James 1:18), are those who can sing the new song (Rv 14:3).


If you don’t know what the ‘new song’ is, can you sing it?


Those who are singing the new song, the 144,000,  are gathered at Mount Zion, together with God and Jesus (Rv 14:1).


Today is the time when we can learn the new song!
 Today we must be those who are harvested and sealed according to the prophecies in the New Testament (Mt 13: 24-30; Rv 14:14-16; Rv 7:2-4).


What was God’s hope and desire as He allowed the blood of His son to be shed?


God desires to create His eternal kingdom here on earth, as it is in heaven, His holy nation and treasured possession, His kingdom of priests (Ex 19:5-6), those who have been purchased with the blood of  Jesus.


Today is the time when Jesus’ blood comes into full effect. Today is the time we can truly receive salvation.


Have you been purchased? Have you been harvested and sealed? Can you sing the new song?


Now is the time! Let us not be like those living at the time of Noah, who lost the opportunity of salvation by not getting on the Ark because they did not recognize or understand the time they were living in.


Let us be those who fulfill God’s hope!

[Shincheonji God's Word] Two Covenants

God said to the Hebrews (Israelite people) who came out of Egypt, through Moses, “If you keep my covenant, then out of all nations you will be my treasured possession. Although the whole earth is mine, you will be for me a kingdom of priests and a holy nation.” (Ex 19:5-6). But they neither trusted in God, nor obeyed him by the Jordan River. (Ex 32, Dt 9:11-24, Heb 3)
So God said in Jeremiah 31, he would make a new covenant because they broke the first covenant (Jer 31:31-32, Heb 8:7-13), and made the new covenant in the blood of Jesus after about 600 years. (refer to Mt.26:26-29, Lk 22:14-20, Heb 9:13-15)  This new covenant is the New Testament, which main point is the promise of Revelation. Those who keep this covenant will be forgiven for their sins and become a kingdom of God and priests, and a holy nation, that is, the people of Heaven (Rv 1:5-6, Heb 9:24-28).

They were the covenant through Moses, and the New Covenant through Jesus. Today, those who keep the New Covenant will be blessed as promised. What we should trust and obey are the word of promise (prophecy) and its fulfillment in the New Testament.

The affairs in the past (at the time of Moses) are the examples then, and what appear in the mirror are their faces (appearances). Today, we look in the mirror glass, which is far more transparent like pure gold. (Rv 21:21) As this mirror is the everlasting word like gold, everyone will be judged according to his deed as recorded in the Bible. (Rv 20:12)

[Shincheonji God's Word] Promise (Prophecy), Fulfillment and Faith

What do the promise, fulfillment, and faith refer to?
The promise refers to God’s promise of what is to be fulfilled in the future with the saints, the fulfillment refers to the achievement of the promise (prophecy), and faith refers to witnessing and believing in God’s fulfillment of his promise.
 
The one who promises and fulfills is God, and the ones who need to believe this fulfillment of the promise when the time comes are the saints. God gives the promise through his chosen prophets, and the prophets record what has been promised in the Bible and convey this. This is the gospel.

 

There was never a time when God had not fulfilled his promises in the Old and New Testaments of the Bible, as God had fulfilled everything. Each time, people did not believe. The people who did not believe this were people who did not believe in God and Jesus, and they were the betrayers. Certainly, there were also Satan’s disturbances and suppressions through his pastors so that people would not believe in God’s words of promise.
 
● The relationship between the pastor and saints
Let’s look into the facts at the time of the Old Testament and at the First Coming of the New Testament.
Before the time of Moses, it had been passed down by word of mouth, at the time of Moses there had been the 5 books of Moses but only the Bishops and religious leaders had them.
After that there was the Old Testament but only the religious leaders had it and the saints worshiped by only hearing their pastor’s words without the book (Bible).
 
 
In the time of New Testament, the New Testament Bible was made. From this time there were both Old and New Testaments. In the New Testament, the fulfillment of the Old Testament was recorded as well as the New Testament, that is, what will be fulfilled in future. However even in the time of the New Testament, only the religious leaders had the Bible, and general saints or laypeople could not see nor have it. Whoever pointed this out in discontentment was put to death. This is like a person who does not know the Buddhist scriptures believing in Buddhism.
At this time, Martin Luther had carried out the religious reformation, saying that all believers should read God’s Bible and have faith according to the Word. Luther made a printer with a wine presser and started to copy the Bible with this printer for the saints to read. Since then many people were able to possess and read the Bible. However Luther did not interpret the meaning of the Bible. Believers before Luther had only heard from the Bishops and believers after Luther did not know the true meaning of the Bible and only believed in their church pastor’s words. This was the form of faith until this day.
 
Jesus said when he goes the night will come (Jn 9:4), and the end of the churches will come when the gospel of Heaven that Jesus had conveyed is preached to all nations and to the ends of this earth (Mt 24:14). The 6,000 years of history of the Bible tells us well about each time. Jesus and the Bible tells us the world of Adam, the world of Noah, the world of Moses and Israel, the world of the first Heaven, and Jesus’ First Coming will all be ended with Jesus’ Second Coming.
Saints are loyal to their pastors firmly believing in their words, as they do not know the Bible. But what the saints should believe in is not their pastor’s words but God and Jesus’ words. The reality of the world of religion is that saints believe in their pastor even when the pastor lies, and simply follow even when the pastors lead them to other ways. The reason is because the pastor and saints do not know the words of promise in the Bible.
 

 

Jesus has clearly told us the things to fulfill at the Second Coming and the promised pastor in the New Testament. Even if the time of fulfillment of the promises has come and even if the promised pastor has come, they only believe and follow their pastor’s words, as they do not know this. When the promised pastor has come, saints must know their pastor is not true, and salvation is through the words of the promised pastor. For example, at the time of Noah, a person of the world of Adam must listen to the word of Noah rather than Adam to receive salvation. At the time of Moses, a person of the world of Noah must listen to the word of Moses rather than Noah’s world Canaan to receive salvation. At the time of Jesus’ First Coming there is salvation through faith in Jesus’ gospel of Heaven rather than the Law of Moses. At the time of Jesus’ Second Coming, rather than only believing in what has been fulfilled at Jesus’ First Coming, one must listen to the promised pastor’s testimony of the fulfillment of the New Testament to receive salvation.
It does not mean you shouldn’t believe in God, Jesus, kingdom of heaven and the Bible. It means to believe in the promise and the fulfillment. The promise is the new covenant, and when it is fulfilled, one must believe in the physical fulfillment, which is the word of testimony of the fulfilled prophecy, rather than the prophecy.
 
Shincheonji is promised in the Bible (Rv 21:1), the Temple of the Tabernacle of the Testimony is also promised (Rv 15:4-5), 12 tribes on Mt Zion and the new song is also promised (Rv 14:1-5). It is also promised Shincheonji receives the one who overcomes and the word of Revelation and conveys this (Refer to Rv 2, Rv 3, Rv 10, Rv 22:16-17).
Harvesting and sealing is also promised (Rv 7, Rv 14), and it is being fulfilled according to it. Anyone who does not allow this is an interferer, one who works with Satan, and shut the way to the kingdom of heaven not allowing those to enter who are trying to (Refer to Mt 23:13). Anyone who does not become harvested is the weed and the son of the evil one (Mt 13:30, 38-39), anyone who adds or takes words away from Revelation will not enter the kingdom of heaven but goes to hell (Rv 22:18-19).
 
Is this a lie? Is this untrue? The treatment of persecution and acts of evil is born from the devil and occurs because the devil’s evil spirit is with them. Who would the saints blame? It is themselves who do not believe when the advocate comes and alerts the fulfilled New Testament; it is no fault of others but their very own.
 
Why won’t you believe in God’s words and promise? Look at Shinchonji. Even a young child has been born by the seed of the Word and so aren’t they better off than the pastors or theological professors of the world? If one cannot believe even after seeing this, it is because their spirit is dead.

Religion and Its Founder

 

 

Whose will is recorded in the Old and the New Testament? What is religion, and who is its founder? Why can’t we understand the meaning of the Scriptures with knowledge of the world? How is the end result of believers different from that of unbelievers?

 

Religion (宗敎) means “the highest teaching.”

 

Who created religion?
Religion was created by God (Holy Spirit), and the proof can be found in John 1:1-2.  The founder of religion, therefore, is God the Creator. That is why the Catholic Church is called Cheonjugyo (天主敎)*. Hence, to call a man who merely follows religion the founder of it is against the law and a lie. Whether it is a newly-rising or a traditional church, the leader of a church cannot be the founder. The name Church of Jesus reveals that its founder is Jesus, and the name Cheonjugyo shows that Cheonju (the Lord of heaven) is the founder. Usually, cults use the word “founder” to persecute others. However, anyone who uses such a word proves that he himself is a cult and speaks lies. For example, even though a tenant of a vineyard is entrusted with a vineyard, this does not make him the owner of it. If a church calls itself the so-and-so church of the Church of Jesus in Korea, that means the founder of this so-and-so church is Jesus. If a person labels the leader of a church as a founder despite the fact that the church calls itself the Church of Jesus, that person has to realize he is a false believer. A person should be referred to as a representative, the one in charge, a pastor, elder, or be called by his personal name. Churches and Christians must act in accordance with the will of God (Holy Spirit). This is the true life of faith that professes to believe in God. 

Just because a person possesses a lot of knowledge of this world, it does not mean that he can correctly understand the meaning of the Scriptures. Furthermore, what God has prophesied, God fulfills. We are able to understand the meaning of the prophecies after God fulfills it and explains it to us. There is a vast amount of contents recorded in the Bible, including history, moral teachings, prophecy, and fulfillment. Among them, prophecy is something to be fulfilled in the future, and therefore, there is an appointed time when it is fulfilled.

 God gave us the prophecies in advance so that people would believe when it is fulfilled   (Jn 14:29).

[Shincheonji God's Word] Prayers at the End of the Age when All Nations have Fallen

All nations have fallen and have become the possession of Satan, and maddening wine of adulteries comes out from the mouths of the pastors who have become Satan’s possession. At a time like this, where must the congregation members pray?

Because the Physical Israelites worshipped Gentile gods at the time of King Solomon, the 11 tribes in the North became the possession of the Gentiles and gave service in Samaria. One tribe in the South – the tribe of Judah—gave  service in Jerusalem. Even the one tribe of Judah (Jerusalem) in the South betrayed God and became the possession of Gentiles (Isaiah 1).

Furthermore at the time of Jesus’ First Coming, Israel was held captive by the Gentiles (Roman Empire). It was during this time Jesus came and spoke with a Samaritan woman. He said at this time, ‘it is not in Samaria, nor in Jerusalem, but when you pray go into your room’ (refer to Jn 4). Why did prayers and service have to be done in their rooms and not in the temples? God was searching for those who were praying in rooms. What is the reason for this? At that time, just like the words of Isaiah, Israel was captured by the Gentiles, and the pastors became Gentile pastors, offering service worshiping Gentile gods. This is because of the maddening wine of adultery; Satan’s words came out of the mouths of these pastors who became Gentile pastors.    

At the time when God and His son Jesus came, the actions of the pastors of that time were the actions of Satan, and the actions of an enemy.  Having service together with them is listening to the words of Satan, and worshipping Satan himself. Of the prayers that are lifted up, there are prayers the Lord does not accept or listen to according to the words of Isaiah chapter 1.

Today is the end of the age as a result of the corruption of the world of religion, and the end of the era Satan controlled. All nations fell as a result of the maddening wine of adulteries, and have married the spirit of Satan (Rv 17-18). Will God really receive prayers lifted up to Him from a place like this? Even today, it is the time to go into our rooms to pray just like at the time of the First Coming. 

At the time of Moses, God separated His people from the Gentiles, and the angels destroyed all the firstborns of the Egyptians. Also in Ezekiel chapter 9, a mark (seal) was placed on the foreheads of those who grieved and lamented over all the detestable things done in the city of Jerusalem. All those who did not have the mark were slaughtered. Even today, at a time when all nations have fallen, there are those who are sealed and those who are not. Those who are sealed will live, and foreigners (Gentiles) who are not sealed will be killed 1/3rd at a time (refer to Rv 8, 9).

Why is it that today, those who claim they are the most fervent believers do not believe in Jesus’ promises? Today there are the sealed people who are harvested, and the weeds that are not harvested. Of the two, whom will God save and whom will He throw out? Why do they not believe in the words of the Lord?  

The Christian Council of Korea (CCK) split into two (CCK and the Committee to Countermeasure Cults [CCC]). They are calling each other cults. Is this what you call orthodox? Are they believers who truly believe in the Lord? Is this what you call the light and salt of the world? Would God really dwell at a place like this?

Look at the 12 tribes at Mt. Zion who have been sealed and harvested. They are the Light created according to the New Testament promises God made. People at that time called Jesus, who came as the Light in the name of God, a heretic, and now there are those who call the pastor, who has united with the spirit of Truth who comes in the name of Jesus, a heretic. This is blasphemy against the Holy Spirit (refer to Mt 12:31).  Believers must discern for themselves which path is the road to salvation.

Let Us Distinguish the Truth from the Lies Using the Bible

Although people are sinners and have been continually hostile toward God, he loved us sinners so much that he gave us his son (Jn 3:16). The son of God bore the cross on our behalf (Jn 1:29) and now he lives within us (Gal 2:20). Jesus taught us to love our enemies (Mt 5:44) and to forgive others their sins (Mt 6:14-15). People who believe these words of Jesus and put them into practice are true believers. Those who refuse to act upon Jesus’ words are not believers at all. Anyone who strays from Jesus’ teachings is acting according to his or her own personal thoughts, opinions, and judgments. The contents of the 66 books of the Bible can be divided into history, teaching, prophecy, and fulfillment.

Biblical history can be divided into several time periods that lead up to today. The period of the judges followed the time of Adam, Noah, Moses (Exodus), and Joshua (the entry into the land of Canaan). The period of the judges was followed by the period of the kings and prophets, the period of the gospel of heaven, during which the Old Testament was fulfilled, and the period of the epistles written by Jesus’ apostles. Now is the time the New Testament is being fulfilled – the period of Revelation. Now is the time of judgment when the good grain is separated from the weeds. Those who believe the word are separated from those who do not believe it (refer to Mt 13:24-30, 36-43, Mt 25).

It is not by human standards that groups of people are judged as being orthodox or heretical (cult members). The only standard that should distinguish orthodoxy from heresy is the Bible. Present-day churches are not orthodox; they are merely holding onto their traditions. The Jewish people (the Pharisees and teachers of the law) stigmatized Jesus as a cult leader and ended up killing him (1 Thes 2:15; Mt 23:29-35). Was Jesus, who preached the revealed word of God (Jn 14:10, 24), a true cult leader? The Jewish people judged Jesus and killed him using their own standards and opinions, which deviated from the Bible (refer to Acts 7:51-54; Mt 27). Pontius Pilate, on the other, realized that Jesus was innocent (Mt 27:24).

Although Shincheonji (SCJ) proclaims only the revealed word of God, a certain person has been calling SCJ a cult. At one point I gave that person 40 questions about the Bible and asked him to answer them and explain. Now, although it has been a few years, I have not received any response. Yet, he is still claiming that SCJ is a cult. Just as Jesus, his disciples, and the prophets of old were denounced as heretics, SCJ is also being denounced as a cult. The New Testament indicates that, at the end of the age, all churches will belong to demons, and the pastors and congregation members of those churches will not even realize that they have united with Satan (Rv 17, 18, 13). In the midst of such a situation, only believers that are sealed with the word and that belong to the promised twelve tribes of the New Testament will become God’s kingdom and priests (Rv 7, 14). Let us speak of what is written in the Bible and answer only according to the Bible. Have those who persecuted SCJ ever willingly accepted our demand for a serious conversation?

I, as chairman of Shincheonji, Man Hee Lee, Church of Jesus, do not even own one square meter of property, and neither does my wife or my son. Why would God’s children, who will eventually receive God’s inheritance, be greedy about such trivial possessions? I would never do anything to jeopardize God’s greater reward. I only act according to the word of God. I teach people about justice and fairness, but I also put these principles into practice. How can someone like this be a cult leader? People who do not stand God’s word – people who tell lies and persecute others – they are the real cult leaders. What does the Bible say about those who will receive salvation in this generation? Those who escape the group of the persecutors to join the group that is being persecuted are the ones who flee from Satan and receive salvation. Let us not forsake the truth.
